CRIIICHI recently reached a significant milestone, making its official debut in the licensing industry at the Hong Kong International Licensing Show 2026. Held at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre from April 27 to 29, the event provided a high-profile platform for our brand to connect with buyers and industry leaders from around the world.
Throughout the three-day event, our team shared the stories behind CRIIICHI’s designs and discussed the brand’s scalability with interested partners. Beyond the booth, we took our message to the stage, presenting the business potential of our IP to a diverse audience of brands and organizations. These face-to-face interactions have already led to scheduled follow-up meetings to explore creative collaborations and cross-industry synergy.
Spotlight on the Hong Kong Pavilion
CRIIICHI was honored to be featured as one of the 39 companies selected for the 7th Design Licensing and Business Support Scheme (DLAB). Supported by this initiative, we were positioned within the Hong Kong Pavilion, benefiting from professional licensing mentorship and increased brand visibility.
The show itself was a hub of global activity, hosting over 330 exhibitors and 600 brands from more than 110 countries. With over 21,000 buyers in attendance, the energy was a testament to the thriving demand for fresh, culturally relevant IPs.
Beyond the Character: Limitless Collaboration
One of the highlights of the week was CRIIICHI’s participation in the daily mascot parades. Seeing our character move from a designer toy concept to a life-sized presence among visitors highlighted the versatile nature of the IP.
CRIIICHI is more than just a character; it is a canvas for storytelling. Whether through bespoke regional editions, thematic gallery installations, or high-end product crossovers, the brand is designed to be adaptable. We are now looking forward to translating the connections made at the show into tangible projects that bridge the gap between fine art and commercial retail.
"Our goal has always been to demystify the high-concept experience. We don’t want people to fear they 'won't get it'; we want them to feel it. By bringing CRIIICHI to the global stage, we are showing that profound art can be both deeply intellectual and incredibly welcoming, allowing the audience to appreciate the art without the fear of misunderstanding it." — winxcy, Creative Director
